Brass Insert for PPR Pipes
A high-grade free-cutting brass (CDA C36000) insert engineered for embedding into PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) pipe fittings. Features precision internal threading conforming to ISO 228 / BSP standards and aggressive diamond knurling on the outer surface for maximum pull-out resistance during the molding process. Withstands working pressures up to PN25 (25 bar) at 20°C and continuous operating temperatures from -10°C to +95°C. Widely used in residential and commercial plumbing for hot and cold water supply, heating systems, HVAC, and solar water heating installations.
Key Highlights
Features & Benefits
Corrosion Resistant
Manufactured from high-grade CDA C36000/C38500 brass alloys that provide exceptional resistance to dezincification, corrosion, and chemical attack in both hot and cold water environments.
Temperature Resistant
Engineered to withstand continuous operating temperatures from -10°C to +95°C without degradation of mechanical properties or seal integrity.
Precision Threading
All threads are CNC-machined to ISO 228 / BSP / NPT standards with Go and No-Go gauge verification. Thread tolerances of ±0.05mm ensure reliable, leak-free connections.
Easy Installation
Designed for straightforward integration into PPR, CPVC, and UPVC pipe fittings during injection moulding, heat fusion, or mechanical coupling processes.

Material & Quality Assurance
Our PPR/CPVC/UPVC brass inserts are manufactured from premium free-machining brass alloys, primarily CDA C36000 and CDA C38500. These alloys offer an optimal balance of machinability, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength. Lead-free brass variants (CDA C69300) are available for NSF/ANSI 61 compliance.
Usage & Installation Guide
These inserts are designed for permanent installation into thermoplastic pipe fittings. During the injection moulding process, the brass insert is placed into the mould cavity, and the molten plastic flows around it, creating a permanent mechanical and thermal bond. The knurled outer surface provides exceptional pull-out resistance.
